Every year, the Minneapolis - St. Paul Magazine conducts surveys and identifies top dentists and doctors in the community.
Mpls.St.Paul surveyed nearly all 2,000 licensed and practicing dentists and 1,000 randomly selected hygienists in the seven-county metropolitan area to find out to whom they turn for their own dental care—or the dental needs of their loved ones.
Nineteen percent of the total returned surveys for our third "Top Dentists" listing in the following eight categories: cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, general dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics. (It should be noted that cosmetic dentistry is not a specialty technically recognized by the American Dental Association, but rather this category denotes which dentists pay special attention to cosmetic corrections.) The 300 most often recommended dentists made our final list.
